Scottish Government – Lifting of restrictions on 9th Aug
Please be aware that changes to restrictions implemented today will NOT impact on dental services. Physical distancing continues to be in place and the requirement to close surgeries following treatments remains.
We understand our patients frustration at the lack of clarity in the press and lack of routine dental appointments. Emergency and urgent dental care will continue to be our priority whilst managing others who have been waiting for treatment.
If you require advice or have any dental concerns, please don’t hesitate to telephone our reception team (it is not possible to reply in full to FB messages to our page).
We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please bear with us. We will post updates as soon as we have further information.
The extent of our official update so far from the Directorate of Primary Care…
“The Scottish Government is currently reviewing the physical distancing requirements for health and social care settings in Scotland. In the meantime, until and unless further notified, all primary care providers should continue to follow the current guidance relating to physical distancing measures.”
