Many of our patients may be aware of the Health Minister’s lunchtime statement that NHS dentistry is about to return to normal and that routine check ups are to resume. Regrettably and not for the first time Ms Freeman is completely wrong.
We remain restricted to approximately 20% of our pre-Covid workload and it is unlikely we will be resuming check ups until restrictions ease much further and we can once again welcome increased numbers of patients into the practice at any one time. We do understand this will disappoint many people and please be assured we are also disappointed but in this instance the Health Minister is just plain wrong.
We would like to assure all our patients that the practice will return to more normality the minute we are allowed to do so. In the meantime if anyone is experiencing dental problems or has concerns please do not hesitate to call the practice and we will do our best to help.
